Arrival in Lima. Transfer and overnight in the
JW Marriott Lima. |
|
| Day
2: |
|
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Cuzco.
Upon arrival, transfer to Monasterio. Afternoon tour of Cuzco.
Visit the Karikancha temple and the Cathedral, continuing to
the nearby ruin of Tambomachay (the Inca Fountains), Puca Pucara
(the Red Fortress) and finally Sacsayhuaman. |

3: |
|
Morning visit to Pisac. Tour colorful markets
with daily foods and handicrafts, and visit Mass, attended by
the mayors of neighboring villages in their typical attire.
Afternoon Tour of Ollantaytambo, a fortress consisting of huge
pink stones weighing 50 tons. Lunch. Evening return to Cuzco. |

Morning transfer to the train station to Machu
Picchu. Guided tour of the citadel. Lunch. Transfer to Machu
Picchu El Pueblo Hotel in Aguas Calientes. |

|
Free day to wander around the ruins or visit the
hot springs. Afternoon return to Cuzco and transfer to Monasterio
Hotel. |

Free day in Cuzco. |

Transfer to airport for flight back to Lima. Transfer
and overnight at JW Marriott Hotel |
